At the heart of the Instinct Powerplay SL is Rocky Mountain's Dyname S4 Lite motor.

Delivering up to 700W of peak power and 75Nm of torque, the system provides responsive assistance when you need it most. Compared with a traditional full-power e-MTB, the S4 Lite system is designed to deliver a lighter, more natural riding experience without sacrificing the ability to tackle challenging climbs.

The integrated 480Wh removable battery provides plenty of capacity for everyday trail rides and longer adventures.

With the Rocky Mountain Jumbotron display integrated into the top tube, you can easily monitor your battery level, assistance settings, speed, cadence and ride information.
