More Travel for Rough Trails

The Advanced-grade composite frame features a new Maestro rear suspension with 140mm of smooth, active travel, adding 5mm over the previous generation (135mm). A trunnion-mount rear shock paired with an Advanced Forged Composite rocker arm provides a longer stroke, enhanced sensitivity, and improved chassis stiffness. The rear suspension is paired with a 150mm travel fork for superior control on technical singletrack, rock gardens, and aggressive trail descents.

Adjustable Trail Geometry

Two three-position flip chips make the Trance Advanced 2 extremely versatile. The rear flip chip on the Maestro rocker arm allows riders to dial in frame geometry, adjusting handling to match terrain or riding style. The headset flip chip provides 10mm of reach adjustment (-5mm, 0mm, +5mm) without swapping stems. Choose the high setting for more ground clearance on technical climbs, the low setting for a slacker head angle and lower bottom bracket for confident downhill handling, or the middle position for a neutral balance of agility and stability.

Rear Wheel Options for Agility or Stability

All Trance Advanced 2 models come stock with 29-inch front and rear wheels for maximum stability and rollover capability. Riders can also switch to a mixed “mullet” setup with a 27.5-inch rear wheel, delivering a snappier, more agile feel and increased saddle-to-tire clearance—perfect for steep, technical terrain.
