Giant Reign 2 – Built to Push New Limits on Aggressive Trails
The Giant Reign 2 is a capable and confidence-inspiring enduro mountain bike designed for riders who want to take on challenging terrain with speed and control. Proven on demanding trails and inspired by race-level performance, this enduro ripper features 160mm of Maestro rear suspension that devours rocks, drops, and technical trail features with ease.
Built with versatility in mind, the Reign 2 includes a three-position flip chip that allows riders to fine-tune the bike’s geometry and even switch rear wheel size from 29-inch to 27.5-inch. Whether you’re charging steep descents, riding technical singletrack, or exploring aggressive enduro lines, the Giant Reign 2 adapts to your riding style and terrain.
Key Performance Factors
Race-Bred Suspension
Developed and tested under the extreme demands of Enduro World Series racing, the Maestro rear suspension system delivers 160mm of smooth, active travel for outstanding traction and control. A trunnion-mount rear shock with a longer 62.5mm stroke (up from 60mm on the previous generation) improves sensitivity and big-hit performance, while the Advanced Forged Composite upper rocker arm increases stiffness and reduces overall frame weight for precise handling.
Adjustable Enduro Geometry
The Reign 2 features advanced flip chip adjustability with three geometry settings to match terrain, riding style, and wheel configuration. Riders can choose a 63.5°, 63.9°, or 64.2° head angle with corresponding 78.3°, 78.7°, or 79° seat tube angles, resulting in a 35mm, 30mm, or 25mm bottom bracket drop (size medium). This allows you to fine-tune stability, agility, and efficiency for any trail conditions.
Rear Wheel Options
With dual rear wheel compatibility, the Giant Reign 2 offers customizable handling. Run the 29-inch rear wheel for maximum roll-over capability, speed, and stability on rough terrain, or switch to a 27.5-inch rear wheel for a more agile, playful, and responsive feel on tighter, more technical trails.
